Festivals
Most celebrations are tied in with the Church calendar. Each town has its own patron saint and locals will celebrate their saint's day with feasts. Although each region holds its own festivals throughout the year, the biggest festival is Carnaval, which is celebrated nationwide. However, each region adds its own touch to their celebrations to reflect part of their heritage. Festivities can include bull fighting, parades, dancing and beauty pageants.
