Local Media

There are no English-language newspapers available in Togo, and the only daily is the government-owned Togo-Presse. Weekly papers include:

• Carrefour
• Le Combat du Peuple
• Le Crocodile
• Motion d'Information
• Nouveau Combat
• Le Regard

The only significant television station is the government-owned Television Togolaise (TVT), although there is also pay-TV service called Media Plus.

Radio France Internationale broadcasts on FM in Lome and Kara. Radio Lome and Radio Kara are the state-run radio stations; some of the country's private radio stations are government-owned or associated with the ruling party, Rassemblement du Peuple Togolais (RPT). These include:

• Radio Nana FM
• Radio Nostalgie
• Radio Zephyr
