Local Media

There are more than 20 daily and weekly newspaper publications. The Times of Oman and The Oman Daily Observer are printed in English, whilst Arabic-language papers include Oman Daily, Al-Watan and Al Shabiba.

There is one state-run television network (Oman TV); however, satellite dishes are also used, which pick up stations from Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Yemen.

The state-run Radio Oman operates both Arabic and English-language networks.
