Local Media

The Norway Post is published in English, and the daily Norwegian-language Aftenposten has an English-language page. Other local-language papers include Dagbladet, VG and the weekly Morgenbladet.

The Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (Norsk rikskringkasting or NRK) is the government-owned radio and television public broadcasting company, operating national TV channels NRK-1 and NRK-2, three national radio stations and local services. The commercial TV2 is NRK's main competitor; other television channels are provided by TV Norge (terrestrially and via satellite) and the satellite-based TV3 Norge.

There are also many commercial national radio stations, such as Kanal 24, Radio 1 and P4.
