Local Media

The Times of Malta and The Malta Independent are printed daily in English. The local-language papers are the daily L-Orrizont and the weekly It-Torca (both owned by the General Workers' Union) and the daily In-Nazzjon and weekly Il-Mument (both owned by the Nationalist Party).

Television Malta (TVM) is the public TV broadcaster, with other channels provided by Net TV (owned by Nationalist Party) and Super One TV (owned by Malta Labour Party).

The public radio broadcaster is Radio Malta. Other radio stations include Radio 101 (Nationalist Party), Super One Radio (Malta Labour Party), RTK (Catholic Church) and Bay Radio (private).
