All newspapers are in English, and include dailies such as The News, The Inquirer and The Analyst, along with weeklies like The Heritage.

There is one privately-run television service (DC TV). Although the state-run broadcaster, the Liberian Broadcasting System, has no television service, it operates a single radio service: ELBC. There are also a number of privately-run radio stations, such as:

• DC 101 (Monrovia station)
• ELWA (Christian station)
• Kiss FM (Monrovia station)
• Radio Veritas (Catholic station)
• Sky FM (Monrovia station)
• Star Radio (FM and shortwave station)
• UNMIL Radio (operated by United Nations mission)
