There are many English-language newspapers available in India, including The Times of India, Indian Express, The Hindu, Hindustan Tunes, The Telegraph.

Doordarshan Television is a public TV service, which operates some 21 national, regional or local services. Other television services include:

• Aaj Tak (24-hour news)
• New Delhi TV (NDTV)
• Sony Entertainment TV
• STAR TV (operates satellite and cable TV services)
• Sun Network (commercial multi-channel broadcaster)
• Zee TV (operates satellite and cable TV services)

All India Radio is a public radio service that operates both domestic and external networks. Ther are a number of other radio broadcasters, such as Radio City, Red FM and Radio Mirchi.
