Local Media

Although there are no English-language papers published in Iceland, international press is available. Local-language papers include Frettabladid, Morgunbladid and the evening daily paper, DV.

National radio and TV services are provided by the Icelandic National Broadcasting Service (RUV), a public-service broadcaster owned by the state. There are also a number of private television and radio broadcasters, such as Skjar einn, Stod 2 and Syn (TV), and Bylgjan (radio).
