Local Media

There are no English-language papers in Haiti; however, there are a number of French-language papers, including Le Matin, Le Nouvelliste and the weekly Haiti Progres.

The government owns Television Nationale d'Haiti, which broadcasts cultural services in Creole, French and Spanish. There are also some private networks broadcasting in French, such as PVS Antenne and Trans-America.

Radio Nationale d'Haiti is the government-run, French-language radio station. There are also more than 250 private radio stations, including the following:
