It is advisable to travel to Guinea only on essential business; all other travel is not recommended. Although martial law and curfew were lifted in February 2007, the political atmosphere remains tense, and visitors should monitor events closely and avoid any demonstrations and political rallies.
Visitors are strongly recommended not to travel to the borders with Liberia, Côte d'Ivoire and Sierra Leone. For further information seek official advice.
