Estonia

Flag of Estonia

The Republic of Estonia is a country in eastern Europe, bounded to the north by the Gulf of Finland; to the east by Russia; to the south by Latvia; and to the west by the Baltic Sea. Estonia also has seaborders with Finland and Sweden.

The name 'Estonia' is thought to have originated from the 'Aestii' people described by Roman historian Tacitus in his book Germania (ca. 98 AD).
