Local Media

There are no English-language papers in El Salvador; the Spanish language dailies include El Diario de Hoy, El Mundo and La Prensa Grafica.

Television is proved by a number of private operators, such as Teledos (Canal 2), Canal Cuatro (Canal 4), Canal Seis (Canal 6), Agape TV (Canal 8) and TV Doce (Canal 12). Cable TV is also widely available and carries international channels.

There are a huge number of radio stations, including the state-run Radio El Salvador. Commercial stations include Femenina 102.5, FM Globo, Radio Cadena Central and Radio YSKL.
