Founded: 1379; women students first admitted 1979.
Admission: Undergraduates admitted for all courses except classics & oriental studies, earth sciences, european & middle eastern languages, geography, history & english, materials science, theology, philosophy & theology.
Study grants: About 30 a year. Library & information services: 100,000 volumes including substantial antiquarian collections. Separate college IT service; 6 points of access to library, 3010 Internet (ratio 1:10 workstations to students); ethernet connections in all study bedrooms. IT facilities open 24 hours/day; 1 IT officer and assistant.
Eating arrangements: All meals provided in hall. Gate/guest hours: Access by swipe card and library access system.
Other college facilities: 8-acre sports ground 1 km from college, squash courts, gym, college punts and boathouse.
Accommodation: 95% undergraduates in college accommodation. £840 per term for bed and dinner; 90 self-catering rooms at £85 per week. Few students in privately owned accommodation, approx £60-£65 pw self-catering.
