Lincoln University (Student Life)

Accommodation: University has approved list. Fairly cheap (£50 pw), average/good quality.

Eating: Meal for £2.50-£3.50 on campus. Pub food is OK, prices differ, some 2-4-1 offers. Loads of takeaways and fast food outlets.

Drinking: SU bar good atmosphere, limited space. Some good, new bars in the city and Brayford Waterfront really taking off. Nightlife: SU open till 2 on Saturdays. Ritzy, Pulse, Jumping Jaks, Po Na Na's, Sugarcubes and upstairs venue in Scream all good for students. Cinema on Brayford Waterfront.

Locals: Most friendly but a minority hostile to students; generally fine. Sports: Local clubs.

Financial help: Uni student services very helpful; keep in good contact with SU; applications processed quickly.

Best features: Modern campus in beautiful surroundings with city centre 5 mins away.

Worst features: Can't get away with anything without being found out!
