Accommodation: Uni housing good value.
Eating: Good selection of food in Heat, D2 and Dylans bars; several university food options including canteen and cyber cafe.
Drinking: SU bar cheapest in town (£1.50 a pint, £1.20 a shot).
Nightlife: Buzzing with a massive range of pubs, clubs and bars - something for all tastes. Bordering on the pretentious and pricey but good fun. Firestation most popular student venue, open 6 nights a week.
Sports: Sports hall with climbing wall, squash courts, gym and all-weather courts on campus; and UK's first beach volleyball court. University and SU partnerships with many local clubs and venues.
Travel: No campus travel shop.
Annual living costs: The minimum amount students say you need to live on each year (covering all living expenses but excluding tuition fees) is £4500 (in uni accommodation), £5250 (in private accommodation).
Financial help: Small fund operated under strict rules; normally used for rent.
Jobs: Part-time work in shops and bars, both in SU and locally. Average wage £4.50 per hour.
